A car collided with the central reservation on the A27 Westbound at 5.40pm this evening (Monday) causing delays.
A police spokesman said no injuries had been reported and the carriageway was cleared of any debris or emergency vehicles within an hour.
The accident occured near the Coach and Horses pub near Worthing.
