A DRIVER was subjected to an unprovoked attack as he left a supermarket car park.
The man was driving out of a Tesco car park when a pedestrian opened his car door and punched him in the face.
The victim got out of the vehicle and a tussle ensued with the man on the ground, before a second suspect, also a man, starting kicking him.
The attack happened in Sybron Way, Crowborough, at about 7.55am on Wednesday.
PC Ian Grabiner said: "This was an unprovoked attack on a man in a busy part of town, and there would have been plenty of people walking and driving around at the time."
Anyone who saw anything should email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 196 of 09/12.
