CAROLLERS raised the roof when more than 100 musicians and singers held a special Christmas concert.
The Lewes Old Grammar School event was held at the town hall and featured a wide range of music to suit all tastes.
School musical director Marc Orchin said: “It was probably the only concert where Vivaldi shared the same programme as Slade, the Beatles and Shakin’ Stevens.”
The event featured junior and senior choirs and also a teacher’s choir, which performed its reworking of an old classic called the Twelve Days After Christmas.
Head of singing Rachel Munro said: “Everyone worked together to perform one of the school’s best ever Christmas concerts.
“It was a real cracker.”
