FANS of a much-loved toy are being asked to make donations for poorly children this Christmas.
Brighton Bricks, a meet-up group for adult fans of Lego set up earlier this year, has organised an event in partnership with charity Fairy Bricks a Lego Collection with all bricks being donated to The Royal Alex Children's Hospital.
Participants are asked to donate new boxed City, Creator or Friends Lego and then drop them off at either Little Beach Boutique in North Road, Rendezvous Cafe in Duke Street or drop it off with a Dinner2Go driver after ordering a takeaway.
Donated sets will be taken to The Royal Alex Children's Hospital play team where some will remain in the ward's play room, some will be built in bed by children unable to leave their room and some given to children to keep as gifts.
