Beachy Head
THE bodies of a man and a woman were recovered from the foot of the cliffs below Beachy Head.
Police and Coastguard officers attended at 8am on Wednesday following reports of concern for two people in the area.
A police helicopter aided in the search of the area, which resulted in the two bodies being discovered at sea level at around 9.25am.
The deaths are being treated as unexplained.
The bodies have been recovered and the coroner has been informed.
