IS THIS the most expensive beach hut in Sussex?

This property may only be 2.44m x 3.05m but it has a view to die for and will set you back £39,950.

The little bolt hole is in the sought after Shoreham Beach Green with stunning views out across the beach and plenty of room on the pebbles in front of you for lounging in the sun.

It may have an eye catching price tag but the description is short and sweet on the Rightmove website.

"Timber built construction with UPCV cladding on the exterior, decked veranda with checker plate metal finish," is the simple description of what is labelled a Marine Property For sale.

But the pictures speak for themselves for anyone looking for a peaceful spot by the seashore.

The hut has a bench across the back, a white desk and a little fold away table at present with a carpet and rug to give it a cosy feel alongside some netting to add to the seaside feel and a little rail to hang up your clothes while you're having a dip in the ocean.

For the same price, those looking to buy near the seaside could get a two-bedroomed holiday villa in Newquay.

In May 2014 a beach hut at Ferring, near Worthing, was put up for sale at £22,500. Overlooking the shingle beach just down the coast.

The prices are said to have been gaining these prices due to demand.

Back in August 2013 a beach hut at Hove went up with an asking price of £14,250.

Sitting in front of Hove Lawns, the blue hut had perfect views out towards the English Channel with various bars, cafes and restaurants are close by.

The inside was empty – enabling the buyer to put their own stamp on the property.
