ALBION season ticket holders can book for 2016-17 from Monday – with a pledge that they will be top of the league in terms of value for money at the Amex.

As reported in The Argus in December, the Seagulls are making just a small increase to season ticket prices for the coming campaign.

Those increases will remain the same even if they are promoted to the Premier League.

Renewal packs will start to arrive from Monday and should be with all supporters by a week on Monday.

The deadline for 2015-16 season ticket holders to sign up again and enjoy the best prices is 5pm on March 16, although those who pay by direct debit will renew automatically.

The same renewal terms apply to those who currently have 2016 half-season tickets.

Chief executive Paul Barber would love to see loyal fans watching Premier League football next term.

He said: “The board has always been committed to keeping prices affordable for everyone, and making payment as easy as possible, and this year we’ve also taken a step to reward the loyalty of our season-ticket holders.

“We’ve made no secret of our aim to play at the very highest level of English football and, while there’s no guarantee of that next season, we will be doing everything we possibly can to make that step up.

“This approach means that those fans who’ve been with us on that journey benefit from the greatest value price for 2016-17 whichever league we play in next season.

“We’ve worked hard to maximise the value of the season ticket in recent seasons, with the extended matchday travel zone and the addition of an 18-21-year-old pricing bracket, making prices even more affordable for families.

“This is another step forward and one which we feel both rewards our existing season ticket holders, and demonstrates that our commitment to them is a long-term one, just as their commitment is to the club.”

Increases will typically be about £2 per month for adults, less for younger fans.
