A LITTLE girl with spina bifida had a dream come true when she met her idol Olly Murs.
Lily Putman met the popstar and X Factor presenter at a special event organised by the children’s charity Rays of Sunshine.
Lily, seven, from Southwick, also has hydrocephalus, a build up of fluid on the brain, and needs to use a wheelchair.
Despite this, she is a sociable, chatty girl, who is always smiling.
Murs has been an ambassador for the charity since 2012 and regularly gives up his time to help grant wishes for seriously ill children in the UK.
Lily joined several other children for the meeting in London and Murs spent time chatting to all of the children before posing for photos.
When Lily asked Murs what he felt about X Factor mogul Simon Cowell, Murs answered: “Simon is a great boss.
“He’s a really lovely guy and I am so thankful to him. If it wasn’t for him I wouldn't be where I am today.”
Lily’s mum Lisa, 36, said: “We all had a fantastic time. Thank you so much for these memories that will be remembered forever.”
