A MAN has been seriously injured after two cars and a cyclist crashed in Brighton.
The accident happened just before 4.50pm on the A23 London Road at Patcham, Brighton.
A man in one of the cars suffered a serious injury but it was not believed to be life-threatening.
Emergency services were called to the scene, involving a white Alpha Romeo and a blue Volkswagen, and road closures were put in place.
Paramedics found that all people involved in the crash were concious and breathing.
Other injuries were not as serious as first feared - another person refused hospital treatment.
The cyclist was shaken but uninjured.
Drivers were advised to avoid the area but the road is now open.
