A CELEBRATION of all things vegan was held over the weekend,
Thousands of people attended the two-day annual VegFestUK at the Brighton Centre where they were offered a choice of 225 stalls, talks demonstrations and even a vegan bodybuilding contest.
As well as food, stalls also sold bodycare, clothes, accessories and gifts as well as information from campaigning groups and merchandise.
New attractions this year included The FxEctive Factor on Saturday, which looked at creative peaceful ways of spreading the vegan message through music and activism.
There was a summit for teachers to show how to promote veganism in schools and tips on vegan nutrition and health for the elderly.
A comedy festival, cinema, children’s area and live music were also provided.
About 12,000 people are believed to have attended over the two days.
