A WOMAN has travelled more than 3000 miles from Slovakia in a bid to find her sister who has been missing for two weeks. 

Michaela Pugh, 37, disappeared after last being seen by friends on the afternoon of February 12.

The Slovakian national lives in Guildford but her black Lexus was discovered at Beachy Head on Valentines Day.

Her sister Denisa has now flown in from the central European country in an effort to assist with the cross-county search.

She issued a message to her sister and said: "Please, can you let someone know where you are. We are worried about you. I am in the UK. I came for you and I am waiting for you. I miss you very much."

Officers from both Sussex and Surrey Police are now trying to find her as a "matter of urgency".

Michaela is described as being white, 5 ft 4i ns tall, slim build, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to have been wearing a Parka style coat and black leggings.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw a woman may have seen a woman using the phone box at the National Trust site in Birling Gap over the weekend of February 13 and 14.
