A man has been charged with the murder of a teenager found lying in the street with stab wounds.
Luke Jeffrey, from Linden Road, Bognor Regis, was found with serious stab wounds in Alexandra Road, Chichester, just after 9pm on Friday evening (March 11).
He was initially taken to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester and then transferred to Southampton General Hospital where he died from his injuries at around 1am on Saturday morning (March 12).
Unemployed Samuel Morgan, 19, of Adelaide Road, Chichester, was charged just before midnight on Sunday with murder and possession of an offensive weapon (namely a knife) in a public place.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Monday (March 14).
Another man, aged 20, also from Chichester, who was arrested on suspicion of murder around 4am on Saturday, was released from custody on Sunday afternoon without charge.
