Man arrested on abduction charges after missing teen found
A man has been arrested on suspicion of child abduction after the disappearance of a missing teenager.
Emily Besant, 15, disappeared in the afternoon of Saturday March 19 and has been the subject of repeated police appeals and publicly-shared CCTV stills.
She had last been seen shopping in Worthing and was captured on camera near East Worthing station at 3.34pm that day.
A 25 year old man has now been arrested on suspicion of child abduction, in news initially shared via Twitter by Inspector Roy Hodder who said that Emily had been found safe and well.
