YOU might expect parking wardens to be challenged about tickets or complained to about times, but it turns out they are most commonly asked about something far sweeter.

The whereabouts of famous chocolaterie Choccywoccydoodah is one of the most common questions put to the city’s parking wardens, the council revealed last week.

It emerged as part of an annual council report into parking in the city that has been shortlisted for a national award.

Councillor Gill Mitchell, chairman of the city’s environment and transport committee, said: “The council puts a strong emphasis on making sure our annual reports help provide an open and transparent service and inform debate about parking in the city.”

Famed for its elaborate chocolate designs, Choccywoccydoodah is in Meeting House Lane.
