ALBION fans have been given a few more days to get their bids in for a special Seagulls' shirt.

Brighton and Hove Mayor Lynda Hyde is auctioning off this signed shirt as the city continues to back Albion as they go in search of the Premier League.

Promotion and the riches of the Premier League beckon if the club win their last game of the season against promotion rivals Middlesbrough on Saturday.

As part of that end-of-season drive, the county is being encouraged to turn blue and white and the city's mayor did her bit by donning the Seagulls scarf in the mayor's parlour ahead of the win at Charlton Athletic as she joined the county-wide campaign to back the Albion.

The Conservative councillor was recently a guest of the Milton Keynes mayor to see the club's dramatic 2-1 win over the Dons.

She said: "I have been following Albion's success with great excitement.

"I give my full backing to campaign for everybody to get behind Albion for the rest of the season."

A signed shirt donated by the Albion is now being auctioned off for the benefit of the Mayor's three charities.

To bid email mayorsoffice@brighton-hove.gov.uk before Friday.
