SPANISH defender Bruno visited his son’s school yesterday to pick up a good luck card.
The youngsters from St Christopher’s, in Hove, wished him luck and gave him a great send off ahead of Saturday’s crunch match.
He said: “I know people everywhere are so excited and it’s so busy at the school sometimes. Pol [Bruno's son] is taking it well.
“It’s everyone, you can feel it in the city. Everyone is talking about it, stopping me and the other players.
“That’s nice because it shows how they are supporting us and gives us extra energy.”
Having taken on the captain’s arm-band in Gordon Greer’s absence, Bruno has played a crucial role in Albion’s promotion push.
But he said he and his fellow players do not think about the £170million prize for promotion.
He added: “We know it is so important for the club and the city as well but as a player you have to try not to get involved in those numbers. It’s another game to give our best.”
