YOU wait all day and then four turn up at once...
But there will be no complaints about the service tomorrow as school children from Hangleton Primary look set to wow the Children's Parade with their take on Brighton and Hove Buses.
The youngsters from the Dale View school were putting the finishes touches to their creations on Friday ahead of the flagship Brighton Festival event this morning.
They have been planning for months, polling their teachers for their favourite bus designs, and have now finished creating the vehicles.
Helping them has been Year 1 teacher Rose Bunting, artists Chloe Bullock and iownthisart artist Jason McQuillen – coveted for designing Brighton and Hove Buses’ Get On Go Somewhere bus.
Miss Bunting said: “It’s been really important and really valuable for the pupils.
“It’s been a really good, successful project and they were really inspired by the artists’ visit.
“They got a lot from it.”
Hangleton Primary’s 5B bus is flag number 21 of the Children’s Parade which starts at 10.30am in Kensington Street.
