HE'S come a long way, baby from performing the biggest gigs Brighton has ever seen to entertaining a tent full of toddlers.
Fatboy Slim played a surprise performance to his toughest audience yet - a room full of babies and their parents.
The DJ, real name Norman Cook, said: "I can safely say this the first time I've done a gig for babies and their parents. It was great fun for both me and my daughter though, and the crowd were so up for it.”
The Baby Loves Disco show was kept a complete secret until just before the doors opened at the new temporary Spiegeltent outside Republic on Brighton beach, and the young crowd were enthralled to 'Eat, Sleep, Rave and Repeat' to the legendary DJs tunes.
Organiser Lesley Woodall said she called in a 20 year old favour to get Norman to play, and he appeared on stage with his six year old daughter Nelly.
Lesley said: "He’s a dad and a proud Brighton resident and just the loveliest person, and he totally got what we’re all about. We pride ourselves on providing amazing experiences for kids and parents alike but having an icon likes Fatboy Slim playing Baby Loves Disco tops the lot, it’s absolutely incredible. ”
