DETECTIVES are looking for a woman over alleged damage to a washing machine.
Sussex Police said a woman "threw open" one washing machine door which smashed the machine door next to it.
She had been trying to put a large duvet in a machine but it would not fit, Sussex Police said.
Around £147 damage was caused, police said.
Sussex Police today issued an appeal for information over the alleged incident at around 7pm on May 4 in Western Laundrette, Langley Parade, Crawley.
Officers said the woman was captured on CCTV allegedly damaging the machine and have released a CCTV image (pictured) of a woman they want to trace over the incident.
She is described as white, with brown, shoulder-length hair, wearing a grey dress and a short-sleeved, blue cardigan. She was carrying a black handbag.
