A 47-year-old man was treated for a broken leg following the accident on the pavement/cycle lane near the bowls club in Preston Road, Brighton.
Although the cyclist stayed with the casualty until the ambulance arrived, it appears he and a potential witness both left the before police arrived.

Anyone able to help should email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 479 of May 17.
