Appeak for witnesses following assault at racecourse
Two people were injured following an assault at a racecourse.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened in the Gordon Enclosure at Goodwood.
A 25-year-old man from Shoreham suffered facial injuries and a 24-year-old man from Pulborough was left with a fractured during the incident.
A 23-year-old man from Amersham in Buckinghamshire, arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, has been bailed until June 22 pending further enquiries.
Anyone who saw the incident, which happened at about 5.30pm on May 21, is asked to contact 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 1079 of 21/05.
