SINGING sensation Sir Tom Jones is performing in Hove and thanks to The Argus you have a chance of meeting him.

The Argus is able to give two lucky readers the chance to not only win tickets to the show but also come face-to-face with the star himself.

The Welsh singer, behind hits such as It’s Not Unusual, Kiss, Delilah and What’s New Pussycat, is performing at the County Ground, home of Sussex County Cricket Club, in Hove, on Sunday, July 17.

Now we are asking you to send us a picture of yourself with your top Tom Jones memorabilia to show how big a fan you are. It can either taken by someone else or as a selfie.

The best submissions will be published in The Argus next week, with the winners revealed. Each winner will get to bring a companion.

Answering questions exclusively for The Argus, Sir Tom appears in today's Guide.

In our interview, he says, "I’ve played Brighton many times over the years and it’s a lovely, lively area. I wouldn’t say I know it well ... but I do know it has a thriving music scene, which is fantastic."

He also promised fans a "great show" at the cricket ground.

Sir Tom said: "We take the audience to all kinds of places emotionally and physically, so it’s a really satisfying experience.

"I respect how much time and money it takes for folks to come out to a show, so every effort goes to make it a great time for everyone."

And fans can rest safe knowing he'll perform his hits: "Every song that becomes successful is different from another. I don’t get tired of performing them because we constantly flip the arrangements to give them some fresh life."

In the spirit of keeping things local, the support act for the night is Eastbourne's own Toploader.

Also on the bill is up-and-coming musician AJ Brown, opening the show.

Zac Toumazi, CEO of Sussex Cricket, said: "Sir Tom Jones is certain to be a huge draw here in Hove and we are excited to have him on our stage.

“We are also delighted to be working with LHG Live in bringing such a legendary artist here, and having worked successfully with them on the Madness 2015 tour it is wonderful to be able to welcome them back for another fantastic event."
