This week Pokemon Go, a popular revival of a 90's classic videogame, has spread across the globe, with millions of people taking to the streets in their droves to hunt Pokemon.
It is a game available on smartphones via an app that uses augmented reality combined with GPS technology in which players catch and train virtual Pokemon characters for battle.
The app is so popular in fact that some users hacked their phone location in order to download the game before its official UK release last Thursday. The very next day the app crashed, with hackers accepting cupability.
The game encourages players to get outside and physically move around in order to find pokemon, as they receive an alert when a creature is nearby. This means that gamers often come across other Pokemon Go participants when playing.
People are also using online Facebook groups to arrange meetups with other players. The first of these in Brighton took place on Sunday July 18.
Following on from our recent article about Brighton's Pokestops, we have rounded up the locations of popular characters in the Brighton area.
So take a look and see if you can catch 'em all.
