Bride and groom Dave and Jane Sharpe held their wedding reception with their family, friends and neighbours in Gordon Road, Haywards Heath in a fundraiser for Rockinghorse, the charity arm of the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital in Brighton.
Their neighbours came together to organise the combined wedding reception and fundraiser, which saw residents of all ages enjoying themselves on a day of bright sunshine.
The road was closed and dressed in bunting. Residents set out tables and chairs lining the street, refreshments were served and live music played. The newlyweds danced to Love is in the Air by John Paul Young for their first song.
Bride Jane Sharpe said: ''The sun shone and we partied on with friends, family and neighbours. The highlight has to be arriving to have our first dance in a wheelbarrow complete with cans clanking! We want to thank everyone for making our day so special and sharing it with us.''
A large charity raffle was held with over 45 prizes donated from local businesses.Over £1,400 was raised for Rockinghorse Children's Charity, which was chosen for Koko, a young resident of the street, who receives support from the charity.
