CONCERN has been raised about the welfare of a missing 57-year-old man.
David Payne, from Henfield, was last seen by his sister on Friday (July 15).
His silver Ford Fusion car had been located in the Eastbourne area but his yellow Nomad bicycle has not.
He is a keen cyclist and used to long-distance rides.
Mr Payne was reported missing to police on Wednesday (July 20).
He is white, 5'9", of medium to stocky build, clean shaven and with receding straight white hair.
Police say he may be wearing a blue shirt bearing a BikeMend logo - reflecting his job as a bike repairer - together with dark blue combat-style trousers.
Sussex Police's missing persons co-ordinator PC Mark Green said: "Please contact us if you have any information about David which may help us find him and ensure he is okay."
Anyone who sees Mr Payne or knows where he might be is asked to email Sussex Police on 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 1883 of July 20.
