A search operation is continuing in the hope of finding a swimmer missing in the sea after changing tides.
The coastguard is searching for the missing teenager, a 19-year-old man from London, after a rescue operation near Camber Sands saw two men resuscitated and transferred to hospital.
One person was taken to hospital by helicopter while another was transported by ambulance after the incident, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said.
Rescue teams from Dungeness and Rye, Coastguard rescue helicopters from Lydd and Solent, Rye RNLI lifeboat, beach lifeguards and police are searching for a missing person last seen in the water.

A Coastguard spokeswoman said: "We are aware of three people involved."
It is not clear how they got into difficulties but it has been suggested the swimmers may have been caught in a rip tide.

Sussex Police have been assisting the Coastguard and RNLI in the search for the missing teenager.
A police spokesman said: "A call was received at about 12.30pm to reports of a man who had disappeared while swimming.
"While on the beach, two men were found to have gone into cardiac arrest on the beach having got into difficulty in the sea.
"Both men were given CPR by police officers before ambulance services were on scene.
"Both men were then flown by helicopter to the William Harvey Hospital in Kent where they remain in a serious but stable condition."
Inspector Mark Evans added: "We are working to establish who these two men are and trace their family and friends.
"We are continuing to support the coastguard and RNLI as they search for the 19-year-old man from London who who is still missing.
"It seems this has been three people who have got into trouble while swimming with the changing tides and coastline."
