The pedestrian was airlifted to hospital but died there from his injuries
A 64-YEAR-old pedestrian has died after being hit by a car.
The man from Chichester suffered serious head injuries in the crash with a red Kia Venga in Florence Road, Chichester, last Wednesday (July 20) morning.
He died from his injuries in St George's Hospital, Tooting, in the early hours of Friday (July 22), police said.
The 77-year-old car driver was unhurt, as was the driver's 83-year-old wife.
