ONE of the south’s busiest railway routes to London Bridge has been suspended after a fire.
Thameslink routes to and from Brighton to the capital are cancelled until further notice after an earlier fire outside Gatwick railway station.

Rush hour commuters using Southern Railway, Gatwick Express and Thameslink services were caught up in the disruption following the blaze.
Two crews from Crawley Fire Station attended the incident at 7am.
According to Southern Railway, the fire took place on the conductor rail which powers the trains.
Train services from Brighton to London as well as from Littlehampton and Eastbourne to London were delayed.

According to Southern Rail the fire occurred on the southbound third line just outside the station.
Disruption is expected to last throughout the morning.
A spokesman for the West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 7.07am to reports of fire on the railway track just outside Gatwick.
“It's not thought to be a serious fire."
In a statement, British Transport Police said they were on site trying to establish what caused the fire.
