A MAN who is wanted by police should not be approached, officers have warned.
Jerome Anicet is wanted for recall to prison after breaching the terms of his release licence.
The 31-year-old had been released in June part way through a five-and-a-half month sentence for common assault imposed at Brighton Magistrates' Court in May.
He has family in Haywards Heath, but has been seen in Brighton since the prison recall was issued, a Sussex Police spokesman said.
Anicet, is of black mixed race, 5' 11", of stocky build with a shaven head, brown eyes and stubble.
Anyone who sees Anicet or knows where he may be is to contact Sussex Police via 999 or 101, quoting serial 1678 of July 15.
