A man has been charged in connection with a series of sexual assaults.
Robert Young, of Denham Road, Burgess Hill, has been charged with five counts of sexual assault, one count of ABH, possession of class B drug (cannabis).
The 39-year-old cleaner is accused of carrying out the sexual assaults over a period of 23 days.
The charges relate to: a 14-year-old girl being touched on the bottom in Fairfield Road; a 17-year-old girl who was also touched on the bottom both on July 18; a 49-year-old woman who was touched in Norman Road on June 26; a 16-year-old girl was touched on Gatehouse Lane on July 15; and a 17-year-old also sexually touched in St Johns Park on July 19.
Young appeared at Crawley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (July 20) and was remanded in custody to attend Lewes Crown Court next month.
