A MAN has been arrested after leading police on a chase and then crashing into a garden wall.
Officers were alerted to a vehicle being driven without insurance on the A23 northbound near Pyecombe at about 12.10am on Thursday (July 28).
The black Seat Leon being driven by a 21-year-old man from London was pursued by officers who signalled for it to stop at the junction with the A273.
The vehicle pulled over but it then sped off and continued onto the B2112 at Ditchling Common, where it lost control and left the carriageway, crashing into a garden wall.
