A GOURMET dough ball vendor is hoping to lure workers in the London Road area away from the big name chains.
Street food concept doughbo serves stuffed Neapolitan dough with both savoury and sweet fillings which are cooked in a wood fired oven.
Hidden behind Aldi on London Road and open for lunch, doughbo wants to take on the food to go chains like Pret a Manger.
It has a pop-up today [Fri] and will be pairing the doughballs with beer cocktails at Polygon Pop Up, at Ribot 1 Buckingham Place, Brighton from 5.30pm-10.30pm.
The business will also be doing the food in the Druids Arms from September and also hopes to get a permanent spot outside Churchill Square shopping centre.
Savoury selections include the absolute porker, carne con chilli, 'road kill' venison and mushroom medley.
Sweet options include 'the nuke', with white and milk chocolate and salted caramel.
