IT will be no surprise to read that professional loudmouth Katie Hopkins has sparked controversy yet again with one of her distasteful tweets.

Perhaps we should all just ignore her.

But it is difficult when she comes out with such offensive bile about a tragic incident so close to home.

In Sussex, sea safety is something we are all acutely aware of.

We have unfortunately come used to deaths off the Sussex coast - especially in the summer months as tourist come down to enjoy our beaches.

But to hear that five people had been killed in one afternoon was a huge shock to us all.

Although not to Katy Hopkins.

She instead used the tragedy to try and entertain her 650,000 Twitter followers.

What on earth is wrong with her?

It appears she doesn't think like the rest of us. She appears to have no conscience, no empathy and certainly no respect for others.

Does she not think of the families of the loved ones - who died less than 24 hours ago - before trying to make a joke of their deaths.

What about their mothers, their brothers and their friends?

It makes you wonder what her limit is?

Murder? Rape? Genocide? Is anything off limits for her?

How can she sleep at night.

We know we shouldn't rise to the words of such a horrible woman.

But when her comments are about a tragedy so close to home, it is difficult not to.

She is a nasty piece of work who will hopefully go away.
