A LITTLE bit of Brussels will be coming to Sussex as a new waffle bakery opens in Brighton.

Wafflemeister will be bringing its mouth-watering array of handmade waffles and toppings to our city.

The UK chain has opened its doors on West Street near Churchill Square.

Foodies can also tuck into Wafflemeister’s range of savoury options like margarita, salmon or even an all-day breakfast.

While those wanting to quench their thirst after a long hot day on Brighton beach, they can choose from a selection of Italian gelato, thick shakes, frappes, smoothies and refreshing sorbets.

And if that’s not enough, the bakery will be offering one free gelato topping and any item from the kid’s menu free for the rest of August. Students with a valid NUS card can also enjoy 20% off the entire menu during September and October.

Roland Blell, franchise owner of Wafflemeister Brighton, said: “The whole team here at Wafflemeister Brighton is excited to welcome residents and visitors alike to our brand new restaurant in the heart of the city.”

Doors are open from 9am to 10pm Monday to Sunday, while their waffles can be enjoyed at home or work through Deliveroo.
