A 79-YEAR-OLD man who has Dementia is missing after not returning from a walk.
Geoffrey Davis, 79, was last seen leaving his home in Pembley Green, Copthorne, on Sunday at 6.15pm. He was going on his usual half an hour walk but never returned. Police are concerned for his welfare and believe he may have travelled to East Grinstead or the surrounding area.
He is white, 5ft 10in tall, of medium build and bald. He was last seen wearing a blue rain hat, red jacket, grey trousers and a striped shirt. He was also carrying a blue umbrella.
Inspector Andy Sanford said: "We are concerned about Geoffrey because he has dementia and this is out of character for him. Please contact us if you have any information which can help us find him and make sure he is ok.”
Call police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting 1461 of 28/ 08 if you see Mr Davis. If he is in danger or in need of urgent medical attention dial 999.
UPDATE: Mr Davis has been found and is receiving medical checks, police said at 1pm. They thanked the media and public for their help in finding him.
