A man has been charged with the murder of 19-year-old Shana Grice.
Michael Lane, 27, a tyre and exhaust fitter of Thornhill Rise, Portslade, was charged this evening.
He will appear at Brighton Magistrates Court in the morning.
Miss Grice was found dead at her home in Chrisdory Road, Portslade, on Thursday, August 25.
Sussex Police said in a statement: "On Friday evening, the Crown Prosecution Service approved the charging of Michael Lane with the murder of 19-year-old Shana Grice at her home in Chrisdory Road, Portslade, on Thursday, August 25.
"Lane, 27, a tyre and exhaust fitter of Thornhill Rise, Portslade, has been remanded in custody to appear before Brighton magistrates on Saturday."
