A PUNK vegan model took part in a protest against animal cruelty in the fashion industry.
Brighton model Daryna Milgevska, 22, joined PETA's demonstration outside the official opening of London Fashion Week on Friday.
She and three other models – all decked out in vegan leather and tartan – brandished placards saying Leather Is Dead.
PETA director Elisa Allen said: " Every scrap of fur, leather, or wool means a lifetime of suffering and a terrifying death for a fox, cow, or sheep.
"PETA is calling for a fashion revolution because with all the high-quality, innovative vegan fabrics available, there is simply no excuse for wearing animal skins."
The animal rights group claim that foxes, rabbits and minks are confined to cramped, filthy cages on fur farms, cows farmed for leather endure painful mutilations, and sheep are cut, kicked and punched in shearing sheds.
