A CAR crashed and flipped on to its roof in a residential street with a woman and a baby inside.
The accident happened at about 11.45pm on Friday in Meredith Road in Worthing.
A police car was flagged down by a passer-by and a silver VW Golf was found on its roof in the middle of the road.
It is believed to have collided with four parked vehicles – a Nissan, a Honda, a VW and a Kia – before overturning.
A police spokesman said: "A 24-year-old local woman and a baby, who were both passengers in the car, were not injured.
"A 31-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested nearby on suspicion of driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs.
"He has been bailed until December 21 pending further enquiries."
