A taxi caught fire earlier today.
A fire crew went to Elm Grove in Brighton at about 5.45pm.
One crew from Preston Circus Fire Station used breathing gear and a hose to put out the vehicle.
It was believed to be accidental ignition and a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hot spots. The car was left with its owner.
About an hour earlier, two fire crews tackled a small fire on the flat roof of a derelict youth centre in Lamberts Lane, Midhurst.
Crews from Petworth and Midhurst were sent to the scene and used a backpack of water to put out the blaze.
The scene was left with police.
