Early bids have already started pouring in for some of the Snowdogs ahead of tomorrow’s auction.
Eager offers have started to flood in for some of the dogs online.
Bow Wow – the David Bowie themed dog – had attracted pledges of more than £3,000 this afternoon and is expected to be popular with collectors.
Gizmo and Disco Dog had both attracted nearly £2,000 in bids. There was a bid for more than £1,000 each for Dave the Dog, Rose, Blot the Dog, Brighton Belle, Roodle and Bella.
Hundreds of thousands of pounds is expected to be raised for The Martlets tonight at the Snowdog auction.
Celebrity auctioneer Tim Wonnacott will lead the models under the hammer from 7pm at the Brighton Dome Corn Exchange.
The Martlets believes successful bids will be in excess of £4,000, but there is no reserve. Starting prices online are £1,000. Prices could be significantly higher for some of the designs - particularly those with links to celebrities.
Tickets cost £20, to register to attend email hello@snowdogsbythesea.co.uk. To bid online and watch the auction visit snowdogauction.co.uk/auction-027/auctionDetails/51.
