VISITORS are set to experience a much-loved country house and gardens like never before.
Wakehurst's Glow Wild festival has launched and will run until December 18.
Hundreds of hand-made lanterns and fire bowls have been dotted around the estate, giving the 16th-century house grounds a magical feel.
Organisers have sold 25,000 tickets over nine nights and places are now sold out.
Those lucky enough to get in will follow a special lantern-lit trail that leads through fiery celestial meadows, flotillas of fire and star lit ponds to beautiful midnight gardens.
The grounds are also home to the UK’s tallest living Christmas tree, which is covered in hundreds of lights.
There are also plenty of festive treats with mulled wine and the gift shop full of gifts for Christmas.
And at the end of the trail you can roast chestnuts and marshmallows over a giant fire bowl.
The trail is open from December 9 to 11 and December 16 to 18 with times slots at 4pm, 5pm 6.30pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £12 for adults, £6 for children and £34 for a family ticket. Those under four go free.
