A SCHOOL has been livened up by a menagerie of animals with the help of graffiti artists.

Carden Primary School, in Brighton enlisted the help of Req Ian and Mignon Matthee to create the 10ft high picture of wild animals.

School business manager Nicki Buttress said: "The kids absolutely love it.

"All the animals represent our school's learning journey. When one of the children first saw it they said 'it looks like the unicorn is imagining the whole thing'."

Patcham ward councillor Lee Wares added: “It is great to see such exciting and innovative ways to brighten up the school.

“Not only is the art itself fantastic, it is going down very well with residents.

“It is a great job by the headteacher, her staff, the governors and the parents who have all helped to make this happen.”
