THE cast of a Cinderella pantomime in Seaford will be cleaning a new kitchen at the Barn Theatre.
Starting this weekend, the first pantomime showing will come just after the kitchen clean up, which is supported by Seaford Chamber of Commerce (SCC) and other fundraisers.
A £1,500 cheque towards the kitchen renovations was presented to the Seaford Musical Theatre cast members by the SCC after raising the funds at their annual golf tournament.
A spokesman for the Barn Theatre said: “The community building receives no statutory funding and welcomes over 6,000 audience members a year to local productions, one-night shows and film screenings by the Seaford Community Cinema.”
The kitchen has been named Nanny Cook’s after the theatre’s refreshments manager, Marilyn Nolan, who received a British Empire Medal in 2016 for more than 30 years volunteering.
