A MAN has denied stabbing another in McDonald’s.
Elson Brito, 19, of Francis Street, Brighton, was charged with wounding with intent and possessing a knife in a public place, after an incident in the take away in London Road, on Tuesday afternoon.
He appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent.
A plea has not yet been recorded for the second charge.
He was remanded in custody until February 16 when he is due to stand trial in a crown court.
An 18-year-old man from Brighton was taken to hospital with serious abdomen and arm injuries and is now recovering.
