A FIRE investigation is to be launched after a blaze at a property near Lewes.
East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service sent six appliances from Lewes, Barcombe, Brighton, Newhaven, Uckfield and Heathfield to Upper Stoneham, near Lewes, at 10.25am this morning.
Sussex Police officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service paramedics are also in attendance.
A fire service spokeswoman said all occupants have been accounted for.
The operations at the house have now been scaled back with firefighters damping down, turning over, as well as checking the roof space.
A Fire Investigation Officer is currently on their way to the scene of the incident.
