A TEENAGER has been left with serious leg injuries after a two car crash.
Emergency services were called to reports of a two vehicle accident at the junction of Saddlescombe Road with Devil's Dyke Road, near Poynings, at 6.34pm on Thursday.
A 17-year-old girl from Hurstpierpoint who was a passenger in one of the vehicles sustained serious leg injuries.
Firefighters cut the girl free and paramedics took her to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, for treatment.
Saddlescombe Road was closed until almost 1am between the Beggars Lane roundabout and Devil's Dyke Road while the incident was dealt with.
