INSURANCE brokers Bennett Christmas may or may not break a record on Shrove Tuesday today but they’ll sure crack a lot of eggs as they shell out for charity.
Staff at the Burgess Hill firm hatched a plan to see how close they could get to the world pancake tossing record of 140 flips in 60 seconds after associate director Andy Macauley started bringing eggs laid by his chickens into the office.
Cash raised from the sponsored flip will go to the company’s adopted charity St Peter and St James Hospice at Chailey.
