Albion could face another change at the back after losing Shane Duffy at Nottingham Forest.

The commanding centre-back limped out of the action with an ankle injury in the closing minute.

He initially appeared willing to return but, with his side 3-0 down and the contest decided, eventually headed slowly away to the changing room.

Albion will assess him over the next 48 hours.

They face matches away to Rotherham on Tuesday and at home to Derby on Friday.

The Argus:

Asked how serious the injury was, Albion boss Chris Hughton said: “We don’t know. He is fairly sore.

“We will obviously assess that one over the next couple of days.”

Fikayo Tomori and Uwe Huenemeier will be in the running to join Lewis Dunk in central defence should the Irishman, who has played with a broken nose recently, be ruled out.

Albion skipper Bruno said: “He has been superb. His performances have been amazing.

“If he is out, he will be a big miss for us.”

Albion have suffered injury problems at left-back of late but Liam Rosenior returned to the side today.
