WHITEHAWK FC players joined students and staff to open a playground at a primary school.
Footballers Javier Favarel and Ramon Marimon helped to open the new eco playground at Balfour Primary School in Balfour Road, Brighton.
The eco equipment generates electricity to charge phones.
Headteacher Marcelo Staricoff said: “It was wonderful to have the children, chair of governors and parents from the Friends of Balfour at the opening.
“Incredibly we had Javier Favarel and Ramon Marimon to cut the ribbon and thats’s very special because the school has a developed a great link with Whitehawk.”
Balfour Primary pupils act as mascots at Whitehawk FC matches and the school takes part in the daily mile project in which children do 10 minutes of exercise a day.
