Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips is facing frustration against Albion – for the second time this season.

The 21-year-old will miss his side’s home clash with the Seagulls a week on Saturday which closes the current batch of fixtures before an international break.

He was sent off in the 90th minute for a second bookable offence in last night’s 1-1 draw at Fulham, in which Leeds were pegged back by a brilliant late goal from Tom Cairney.

Phillips will serve a two-game ban, starting versus QPR on Saturday, as it was his second red card in the Championship this season.

His first was the handball which left his team to play three-quarters of the fixture at the Amex with ten men.

Phillips handled a Lewis Dunk shot on the line, leading to his dismissal and allowing Glenn Murray to open the scoring with a 23rd-minute spot kick. Albion eventually won 2-0.

Championship top scorer Chris Wood looks likely to face Albion.

He missed the Craven Cottage clash with a calf strain but is expected back to face QPR.
